At the Brick By Brick Build & Play Pre-K Program we cater to each individual’s learning style by providing a structured curriculum that also
allows time for free play. In a recent study by McKinney and Power, free play was shown to improve the developmentally appropriate cognitive
and social skills of preschool aged children. Our program is centered on curriculum based thematic units. Our daily schedule includes circle
& story time, craft activity time, snack, center time, large group activities, gross motor activities, lunch, and free play. During our program
we will be immersing ourselves in some great literature pertaining to each themed week. We have lots of fun arts and crafts for your children
to partake in, working on fine motor skills and fostering each individual’s creativity. As a group we will be playing games to encourage group
play and cooperation in a large group setting. Along with structured play we will also have a great time free playing with LEGOS.
