Wall of Cubbies

Hello Families, my name is Ms. Chelsea O'Neill. I am the Regional Preschool Director and Lead Teacher for the Moms Morning Out Program at Brick By Brick Charleston. This is my second school year at Brick by Brick---and I absolutely adore my job. I have my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education and I'm currently in Graduate School obtaining my MA in Counseling. I have been working with children ages 2-18 for twelve years, four years in an Early Childhood setting. I LOVE getting messy and laughing. I'm looking forward to working with you and your children! Please feel free to contact me at: chelsea@buildbrickby brick.com.

I am Heather! I grew up as a "Yankee" in rural New England and have since come to adore the South. Through out my childhood I was surrounded by my 10 cousins, which has instilled in me a lifelong passion for children. I have several years of experience working with children in after-school curricular activities, daycare, painting and art classes, summer camps, and clubs. I am a team player, a great nurturer, full of ideas, enthuistic, and am most known for my creativity. I love the energy and unique perspective that each child possesses and cannot wait to go to work each day and see those adorable smiling faces!

My name is Ben, but you may know me as Dr. Blox. After graduating from the College of Charleston, I joined the Brick By Brick team in January, 2014 because, quite simply, I love to play. I spend my days teaching the basics of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM education) in local schools using Lego's® with the Brick By Brick enrichment program and I spend my nights creating new models and programing robots. I have found joy in helping children create something they never knew they had the ability to make and working together to discover unique solutions to build whatever crazy contraption they have dreamed up that day. You can find me at Open Lego Lab on Saturday mornings and in schools around town so sign up today and come help me build something awesome!

As a senior at the Academic Magnet High School, I have been assisting with camps, Parent's Night Out, Open Lego Labs, and many other activities at Brick By Brick since my freshman year. I took an early interest in Legos®, and quickly developed an encyclopedic knowledge of sets and pieces and I often spend time designing new sets and minifigure equipment. I also have Darth Vader's direct line and have been known to call in a few favors during our Star Wars Camps. I plan on moving on to college to be a computer programmer and writer but, in the meantime, I will continue to try to teach every kid that walks through the door something awesome.

Hello! My name is Patrick Magers and I have been a Lead Instructor here at Brick By Brick since 2013. I usually teach the robotics courses and I run the First LEGO® League Team. I also love working our Parent's Night Outs and Birthday Parties! I have a degree in Early Childhood Education from College of Charleston and have taught in Dorchester 2 School District at Spann Elementary. My wife and I live in North Charleston with our two hound dogs, Todd and Tucker. I enjoy reading, making Star Wars LEGO creations with the kids, and taking long walks on the beach at sunset.

My name is Joe and I am 20 years old. I've been building with Legos® for the majority of my life and I don't plan on stopping. I love working with kids because, honestly, deep down I'm just a big kid at heart. As a true master builder, there is no challenge that I'm not willing to face head-on and I look forward to being able to help build the futures of every child I teach.
